This Fuji & Co. component FKS-111 is an exceptionally high sensitivity air pressure sensor, as low as 0.1 mm H2O responding only to ultra-low frequency air pressure changes. For example, in a tightly sealed room, it detects opening/closing doors and windows where such low frequency air pressure changes occur. But, the sensor is not responsive to the audible sound waves which have higher frequency pressure variations, nor to normal ambient air pressure changes.

The device may be used for home electronics, security devices, industrial equipment, etc..
